2.1.2 Board Layer Count

2.1.3 Solder Mask Color
FPC solder mask colors include yellow, black, and white, with recommendations as follows:
- Yellow: Suitable for most products (e.g., various cable products) – highly recommended.
- Black: Commonly used in high-end or light-absorbing products (e.g., automobiles, mobile phones, LED displays).

Generally, smaller line width/line spacing increases manufacturing difficulty and defect rate. It is recommended to use a minimum of 3 mil.
